Setting up Do Not Disturb in Night Service
In the FRITZ!Box night service you can set up Do Not Disturb for all telephones that are connected with the FRITZ!Box via a FON port or DECT.
Do Not Disturb keeps your telephones from ringing at a specified time. Missed calls then appear in the FRITZ!Box call list.
Note:No Do Not Disturb settings can be configured in the FRITZ!Box for connected IP telephones or smartphones. Set up Do Not Disturb directly on the telephones.
- Select "System / Night Service".
- Switch to the "Do Not Disturb" tab.
- Select the setting "Do not disturb enabled".
- Enter the time of day at which the Do Not Disturb function should be turned on and off each day.
- Click "Apply" to save the settings.
- Select "Telephony / Telephony Devices".
- Open the settings of the telephone to which the Do Not Disturb setting is to apply by clicking the "Edit" button .
- On the "Do Not Disturb" tab, enable the "Use night service settings" option.
Note:The "Use night service settings" option is enabled for each telephone by default.
- Click "OK" to save the settings.
- Enable the "Use night service settings" option for additional telephones.
Now the night service settings for Do Not Disturb apply to every telephone for which the option "Use night service settings" is enabled.
Answering machines and fax machines no longer react to incoming calls if you set up Do Not Disturb for these devices. While Do Not Disturb is enabled, an answering machine accepts no calls and a fax machine accepts no faxes.
