Setting Up an Online Telephone Book (1&1, GMX, WEB.DE)

The contacts of an email account with 1&1, GMX or WEB.DE can be set up as an online telephone book in the FRITZ!Box and used on your FRITZ!Fon cordless telephones.

The online telephone book in the FRITZ!Box is automatically synchronized with the email account's contacts. There is no need to maintain the contacts at both locations.

Setting Up an Online Telephone Book in the FRITZ!Box

  1. Select "Telephony / Telephone Book".
  2. Click "New telephone book".
  3. Assign a name for the telephone book.
  4. Enable "Use the telephone book of an email account" and select your email provider.
  5. Enter your email address and the corresponding password.
  6. Under "Telephone Assignment", select which FRITZ!Fon cordless telephones are to have the telephone book available.
  7. Click "OK".

    If the message "The update was successful" appears, the entries from the online telephone are available in the FRITZ!Box.

  8. Click "Next".
