Internet connection cleared.

This is an event message from the "Internet" area.

This message informs you that the FRITZ!Box is no longer connected to the internet. The internet connection may have been cleared for one of the following reasons:

  • You enabled automatic disconnection in "Connection Settings" section of the "Internet / Account Information / Internet Connection" menu of the FRITZ!Box.
  • The connection was cleared automatically by the internet provider.
  • You changed FRITZ!Box settings and the settings are now being applied.
  • The connecting cable is no longer connected with your internet connection and/or the FRITZ!Box.

Proceed as follows to remedy your problem:

  1. Check your settings in the "Connection Settings" section of the "Internet / Account Information / Internet Connection" menu.
  2. Disable automatic clearing if this option was enabled.
  3. Make sure the cable between the FRITZ!Box and the internet connection is connected securely.
  4. Try again to establish an internet connection.

If the problem persists, contact your internet service provider.
