Editing a Sharing
MyFRITZ! Sharing and Port Sharing have several different properties.
Properties that exist for all sharing settings:
| Property | Meaning |

| Name | The name of the application or the server service |
| Port to device | The port number at which the application or the server service accepts queries. The port number can be found in the documentation of the application or the server service, or requested from the manufacturer. |
| Enable sharing | Enables or disables the sharing setting. |
| IPv4 address in the internet | The IPv4 address at which the FRITZ!Box can be reached in the internet. The IPv4 address is displayed only for IPv4 sharing settings. The IPv4 address cannot be changed. |
| IPv6 address in the internet | The IPv6 address at which the FRITZ!Box can be reached in the internet. The IPv6 address is displayed only for IPv6 sharing settings. The IPv6 address cannot be changed. |
| Port assigned externally | The port number in the FRITZ!Box firewall that was assigned for this sharing setting and this network device. If you changed the "Port requested externally" property for a port sharing settings, then the changed port number will not be displayed here until the change has been applied to the FRITZ!Box. |
Properties that exist only for MyFRITZ! sharing settings:

| Scheme | The data transmission protocol used by the application or server service. The data transmission protocol can be found in the documentation of the application or the server service, or requested from the manufacturer. |
| Directory (optional) | The directory in which the application is saved on the network device. This information is not necessarily required. |
| MyFRITZ! Address | The address used to open the application or server service from the internet. The MyFRITZ! address is automatically composed of the entries under "Scheme", the device name, the MyFRITZ! name and "Port to device". |
Properties that exist only for port sharing settings:
| Property | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Protocol | The internet protocol used by the application or server service |
| Port requested externally | The desired port number in the firewall of the FRITZ!Box. You can enter any port number from the range 0 to 65535 here, as long as it has not been assigned for sharing by another port. If the port number you enter here is already assigned to another sharing setting, the FRITZ!Box automatically uses a different port number. |
