Configuring Button Assignments for Templates

For the buttons of the FRITZ!DECT 440 you can create switching operations for sockets/LED lights, radiator controls, and answering machines, or design templates. You can configure up to 3 different displays. You can switch the display by pressing the menu button on the FRITZ!DECT 440.

Rules: Assigning Templates to Buttons

  • You can create up to 4 actions for templates in each display.
  • You can select multiple templates for one action. For instance, with one button assignment, you can apply the template for all radiator controls and the template for all sockets/LED lamps at the same time.

Instructions: Assigning Templates to Buttons

  1. Select "Smart Home / Device Management" in the user interface.
  2. Click on the "Edit" button next to the FRITZ!DECT 440.
  3. Under "Button Assignments", click on "+" in an empty display, or click on "Edit" under a display with at least one free button.
  4. Click on "Add Action".
  5. Click on "Templates" and select the templates you would like to apply simultaneously. Click on "Next".
  6. Specify how the action should be labeled in the display and click on "Next".
  7. Choose where the action should be created and click on "Next".
    The action was added successfully.
  8. Click on "Close".
