Setting Up an Online Telephone Book (1&1, GMX, WEB.DE)

The contacts of an email account with 1&1, GMX or WEB.DE can be set up as an online telephone book in the FRITZ!Box and used on your FRITZ!Fon cordless telephones.

The online telephone book in the FRITZ!Box is automatically synchronized with the email account's contacts. There is no need to maintain the contacts at both locations.

Setting Up an Online Telephone Book in the FRITZ!Box

  1. Select "Telephony / Telephone Book".
  2. Click the "New telephone book" link.
  3. Enter a name for the new telephone book.
  4. Enable the option "Use the telephone book of an e-mail account".
  5. Select your e-mail provider.
  6. Enter your e-mail address and the password for your e-mail address.
  7. Under "Telephone Assignment", specify the cordless FRITZ!Fons with which you would like to use the telephone book. The telephone assignment feature is only available for FRITZ!Fon cordless telephones.
  8. Click "OK".

    The entries from the contacts of the e-mail account are available in the FRITZ!Box whenever the message "The update was successful" appears.

  9. Click "Next".

    The telephone book is configured.

Synchronizing Online Telephone Books
