You can use the telephone book in various ways: The quick-dial numbers saved in the telephone book can be used on connected telephones to place calls. With the phone dialer (Click to dial) you can even use the telephone book on the computer.

Instructions: Setting Up an Online Telephone Book

After it has been set up in the FRITZ!Box, the online telephone book is available on your FRITZ!Fon cordless telephones. The online telephone book is available in the FRITZ!Box and synchronized with your contacts in the internet at regular intervals.

Instructions: Creating a Telephone Book Entry

  1. Select "Telephony / Telephone Book" in the user interface.
  2. Click on "New Entry".
  3. Set up the telephone book entry. For comprehensive information, click here: Telephone Book Entry
  4. Click on "OK" to save it.

Saving and Restoring a Telephone Book

You can save the telephone book in a file (XML format). With the XML file you can restore the telephone book in the same FRITZ!Box or transfer it to another FRITZ!Box.

Note when restoring: Telephone book entries already stored in the FRITZ!Box will be overwritten (deleted).
