Telephone Book Entry

Telephony / Telephone Book / New Entry

You can save telephone numbers and email addresses (for sending email with FRITZ!Fon) in telephone book entries.

Creating or Editing a Telephone Book Entry

You can enter up to 9 telephone numbers in each telephone book entry; in the first telephone book you can also enter SIP addresses (SIP-URIs), for instance "500@hd.telefonie.avm.de".

Staying Available for Calls from Important Persons

In local telephone books and in Google contacts (online contacts) you can enable the "Important person" setting for individual contacts.

Your telephone will ring for calls from an important person even at times when Do Not Disturb is enabled in the FRITZ!Box. Do Not Disturb settings set up directly on a telephone remain enabled even for calls from important persons.

Quick Dial and Vanity Numbers

In the first telephone book, you can assign quick dial numbers (00 - 99) and vanity numbers (2 - 8 letters, for instance, ANNA) to numbers dialed often. Callers can be contacted faster with quick dial or vanity numbers.
