Configuring One-Time Switching for a Socket

You can configure various types of automatic switching for the socket of your Smart Home device from AVM. One-time switching switches the socket on or off for a certain period of time. The time at which the socket is switched on or off can be chosen at will.

Automatic switching can either be configured for an individual Smart Home device or for a group of multiple Smart Home devices.

Instructions: Configuring Switching for a Single Device

  1. Select "Home Network / Smart Home".
  2. Click on the "Edit" button for the desired device .
  3. Click on the "Switch Automatically" tab.
  4. Enable the "Schedule enabled" checkbox.
  5. Continue with the section "Specifying Switching Times".

Instructions: Configuring Switching for a Group

  1. Select "Home Network / Smart Home".
  2. Click on "New Group" or open the settings of an existing group by clicking on the "Edit" button next to the group switch.
  3. Only for a new group: Enter a name for the group and select all devices that are to belong to the group. Click on "OK".
  4. Enable the checkbox "Switch group automatically".
  5. Continue with the section "Specifying Switching Times".

Instructions: Specifying Switching Times

  1. Select the "One-Time" option.
  2. Select whether the socket should be switched on or off.
  3. Define the date and time at which the socket is to be switched on or off.
  4. Select from the "Switching Duration" drop-down menu how long the socket should remains on or off.
  5. Click on "OK".

Automatic switching is configured.
