Setting Up Automatic Switching for Temperature Control

Devices for heating (such as a fan heater, infrared heater) or cooling (like a fan) can be controlled with your smart home devices. To do this, set up automatic switching in order to turn on or off the connected devices automatically whenever a previously specified temperature is reached. The temperature is measured by a FRITZ!DECT device or with a radiator control that can be operated via the FRITZ!Box.

The temperature is measured by a FRITZ!DECT device (FRITZ!DECT 200/210/301/440) or with a suitable radiator control.

Example 1

An infrared heater is to be controlled so that whenever you are home, the temperature during the day and in the evening should not fall below 21 degrees (comfort temperature). When you are away and during the night the temperature is allowed to drop to 18 degrees (setback temperature).

Example 2

To keep your bedroom cool, two fans are to be switched on between 11:00 pm and 6:00 am whenever the temperature reaches 23 degrees.
