Configuring "Switch off on standby"

"Switch off on standby" means: The outlet turns off automatically when the power of the connected device drops for a previously defined period of time. "Switch off on standby" remains active in addition to all other switching schedules.

You can switch the socket back on manually at any time: With the MyFRITZ!App, in the user interface under "Home Network / Smart Home", or by pressing the "On/Off" button on the socket.

Instructions: Configuring "Switch off on standby"

  1. Select "Home Network / Smart Home" in the user interface.
  2. Click the "Edit" buttonĀ  for the desired Smart Home device.
  3. Click the "Switch Automatically" tab.
  4. Enable the checkbox "Switch off on standby".
  5. Enter a power threshold.
  6. Enter a duration.
  7. Click on "OK".
