Wi-Fi / Security / WPS Quick Connection

With WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) you can connect smartphones and other wireless devices with the Wi-Fi of the FRITZ!Box at the touch of a button.

Enabling the WPS Function in the FRITZ!Box

  1. Select "Wi-Fi / Security" in the user interface.
  2. Switch to the "WPS Quick Connection" tab.
  3. Enable the checkbox "WPS enabled".
  4. Click on the "Start WPS" button.

Establishing a Wi-Fi Connection to the FRITZ!Box Using WPS

  1. Start WPS on the wireless device.

    See the documentation of the device for instructions.

  2. Within the next two minutes, press the "Connect/WPS" button on the FRITZ!Box.

    The "Connect/WPS" LED flashes. Other LEDs may flash as well.

The Wi-Fi connection is established. The Wi-Fi security settings of the FRITZ!Box are transferred automatically to the wireless device.
