Changing Imported VPN Connection

VPN configurations that you imported from configuration file cannot be changed in the FRITZ!Box user interface. You must make any changes in the configuration file.

Change configuration file:

1. Open the configuration file in the program with which you created it, for instance, "Configure FRITZ!VPN".
2. Make the desired changes.
3. Save the configuration file.

Import the edited configuration file into the FRITZ!Box:

1. Click on "Internet" in the user interface of the FRITZ!Box.
2. Click on "Permit Access".
3. Select the "VPN" tab.
4. Delete the VPN configuration to be replaced by the edited configuration.
5. Click on the "Add VPN Connection" button.
6. Select "Import a VPN configuration from an existing VPN settings file".
7. Click "Next" and follow the instructions.

Changing a VPN Configuration for a FRITZ!Box User

VPN configurations for individual network devices, which were not imported from a configuration file, are FRITZ!Box users with VPN rights. All settings for the FRITZ!Box user can be changed in the user settings:

1. Click on "System" in the FRITZ!Box user interface.
2. Click on "FRITZ!Box Users".
3. Select in the table the FRITZ!Box user whose settings you would like to change.
4. Click on the button to edit the settings.
5. Make the desired changes on the "User Account" page.
6. Click on "Apply".

Changing the LAN-to-LAN Linkup

VPN configurations between the FRITZ!Box and other networks, which were not imported as a configuration file, can be changed as follows:

1. Click on "Internet" in the user interface of the FRITZ!Box.
2. Click on "Permit Access".
3. Select the "VPN" tab.
4. Select from the "VPN Connections between the FRITZ!Box and Other Networks" list the VPN configuration you would like to change.
5. Click on the button to edit the configuration.
6. Make the desired changes on the "VPN Connection" page.
7. Click "OK".
