Configuring "Forgot Password" Push Service

System / Push Service / Push Services / Edit "Forgot password" / Details for "Forgot Password" Push Service

The "Forgot password" push service sends you an access link to the specified email address if you have forgotten your password. With this link you again can access the FRITZ!Box user interface.

Enabling "Forgot Password" Push Service

  1. Enable the checkbox "Push service enabled".
  2. Click on "OK".

The push service is enabled. The "Send push service mail to" field automatically contains the sender specified under "System / Push Service / Sender". This is supposed to ensure that the access link for the forgotten password is sent only to your personal address.

If you would like to change the email address for receiving the access link, you have to configure a different sender address under "System / Push Services / Sender".
