Configuring a Temperature Offset

The temperature is not always the same everywhere in a given room. The temperature behind a curtain, for example, can deviate from the temperature in the rest of the room. You can set the offset so that your radiator control accounts for such deviations.

Instructions: Setting the Temperature Offset Manually

  1. With a thermometer, measure the temperature at one place in the room where the specified comfort and setback temperatures are to be maintained.
  2. Enter the temperature you measured under "Temperature offset". Do this by clicking on the minus or plus next to the value in the "Room temperature" field.
  3. Click on "OK" to save the settings.

Instructions: Setting the Temperature Offset Automatically with an External Temperature Sensor

For automatic offset adjustment, the difference between the temperature measured by the external temperature sensor (FRITZ!DECT device) and the radiator is determined at regular intervals.

  1. Enable the "Adjust to automatic offset by means of an external temperature sensor" setting.
  2. Select the desired temperature from the drop-down list.
  3. Click on "OK" to save.
