Would you like to watch live television on your tablet or notebook? With the new FRITZ!OS this is simple if you receive IP TV via your DSL connection, for instance with MagentaTV (formerly Entertain) from Deutsche Telekom, or Vodafone TV.
The FRITZ!Box transmits the IP TV signal on your DSL line to your mobile devices via wireless LAN. This allows different non-encrypted TV programs to be viewed at the same time – in both SD and also HD resolution. The IP TV streams are transmitted to the home network via LAN and wireless LAN on the basis of open standards (MPEG containers). For your notebook or tablet suitable media player apps can be downloaded.
