Important person

You can enable the "important person" setting in telephone book entries. Your telephone will ring for calls from an "important person" even at times when Do Not Disturb is enabled in the FRITZ!Box. This means that your children, close relatives and other persons can reach you at any time.

The "important person" setting is available in local telephone books and in Google contacts that are configured as online telephone books in the FRITZ!Box.

Requirements

Your telephone will ring when Do Not Disturb is enabled only if the following requirements are met:

  • The caller is calling from a telephone number that is saved in a telephone book entry. The "important person" setting is enabled in this telephone book entry.
  • Do Not Disturb is not configured on your telephone (FRITZ!Fon, for instance). The "important person" setting applies only to Do Not Disturb settings configured in the FRITZ!Box user interface.

Email

With a FRITZ!Fon cordless telephone you can save email addresses in the telephone book.

In order to send email with your FRITZ!Fon cordless telephone, the following prerequisites must be met:

  • An email account is configured under "DECT / Web Services / Email" in the FRITZ!Box user interface.
