The hotspot's scope of functions expands the possibilities of the previous guest access feature: Use of the wireless LAN by your guests is completely separated from your home network. Surfing and e-mail services are preconfigured for the hotspot. In addition the BPjM module familiar to German parents can be enabled to filter out web sites with adult content.

You can use a schedule to open and close your private hotspot automatically. Use of the hotspot can be logged so that you receive daily push mails about activity there.

Also new is the practical overview for printing out the wireless LAN access information for your network and for your guests. In addition to SSID and network key, this also shows a QR code for your hotspot. With this it is easy for your visitors to connect to the Internet with a smartphone or tablet.

The new private hotspot is also available in locations where FRITZ!WLAN Repeaters provide for wireless LAN coverage.
