Switching State
Available for
This setting is available for Smart Home devices with switchable sockets.
Function
Under "Switching State" you define how the socket should be switched after a power outage. The configured switching state will always be restored after a power outage. Settings on the "Switch Automatically" tab will not be applied.
Example
For "Switching State" the "last state" option is selected. In addition, an automatic switching setting specifies that the socket is off from 12:00 am to 06:00 am daily.
A power outage occurs between 11:50 pm and 12:15 am. The socket is still on at 11:50 pm.
In this case the socket is switched back on at 12:15 am. The time when it was to be switched off (at midnight) has passed and the setting is not applied retroactively.
