FRITZ!App TV: Cable TV on Mobile Devices
The FRITZ!WLAN Repeater DVB-C has two tuners for cable TV (DVB-C). This means the repeater can stream up to two free-to-air TV channels into the home network at the same time. The stream can be played back on all tablets, smartphones and computers that have a media player like the FRITZ!App TV installed.
FRITZ!App TV Features
FRITZ!App TV for Android is available for free from Google Play; FRITZ!App TV for iOS from the App Store. FRITZ!App TV offers the following features:
- Playback of free-to-air TV channels
- Full-screen playback
- Mute
- Channel switching by swipe or buttons
- Zoom by double-clicking
- Link to the user interface of the FRITZ!WLAN Repeater
Requirements
- The FRITZ!WLAN Repeater DVB-C has been set up in the home network and a channel search has been completed.
Using FRITZ!App TV
- Install FRITZ!App TV on your tablet or smartphone.
- Start FRITZ!App TV.
FRITZ!App TV detects the FRITZ!WLAN Repeater and loads the channel list automatically. You can watch TV immediately without configuring any other settings.
