On the "Channel Search" page you can start a channel search for TV channels and radio stations.

Overview

A channel search searches for and saves the free-to-air TV channels and radio stations available on your cable connection.

Example

Your cable provider has announced new TV channels or a change to the TV channel assignments. With a channel search you can update the channel and station lists on your FRITZ!Box to include these changes.

Instructions: Starting a Channel Search

  1. Specify the kind of channel search. Start a comprehensive search if there are still channels or stations missing in the FRITZ!Box channel and station lists after a standard search.
  2. Click "Start Channel Search".

The status of the channel search (number of channels/stations found) is displayed on the "Channel/Station Search" page. The channels and stations found are included in the channel and station lists.
